Old Rosebuds Birthplace LEXINGTON, Ky., May 1.— Old Rosebud, Derby winner of 1914, was raised on the farm now known as Crestwood and operated by Thomas Carr Piatt. The farm was then owned by J. D. and T. B. Carr, uncles of the present owner. Standing at Crestwood now are the stallions Education, Blue Lancer and Ready Jack.
