Sen. Wells on Hand for Race CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 1. — Senator Warren Wells, of Iowa, and Mrs. Wells, their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wells, of Detroit, Michigan, arrived last night to witness the Kentucky Derby running. Senator Wells, an ardent thoroughbred racing enthusiast, never misses the big race and he is one of the few boxholders from his native Hawkeye State.
