On-and-On Has Perfect Derby Lines; Calumet Colt Is by Nasrullah— Two Lea Former Leading Sire Both * In England and U. S.; Dam Produced 53 Derby Winner On-and-On represents well nigh perfection in a pedigree — the product of breedings most famous axiom — breeding the best to the best. To any one acquainted with breeding in the slightest degree, simply citing On-and-Ons pedigree — by Nasrullah — Two Lea, by Bull Lea — is eloquence enough. Anything more would be supererogation. However, for those new to the game of pedigrees, Nasrullah, On-and-Ons sire, an excellent race horse whose brilliance was comprised by his notional temperament, is the only stallion to have been a leading sire in both England and the United States. In the past four years, he has twice been our premier sire and twice runner-up. Has Epsom Derby Winner to Credit By the fabulous Nearco, unbeaten in 14 starts and three times Englands sire leader, Nasrullah has sued two Horses of the Year in the millionaire Nashua and the blazing Bold Ruler. These two, between them, earned well over ,000,000. Nasrullah has also sired the two-year-old star, Nadir; Mister Gus, winner of over 00,000, and such in excess of 00,000 winners as Delta, Nasrina, Leallah, Flying Fury and One-Eyed King. Although a classic sire in both England and this country, Nasrullah is still without a Kentucky Derby winning offspring. Should On-and-On win for him he will join Hyperion as the only stallion to have sired winners of both the Epsom and Kentucky Derbys. Nasrullah sired Never Say Die, the American - bred winner of the Epsom Derby and St. Leger, as well as Musidora, winner of the Oaks and One Thousand Guineas, and Nearula, winner of the Two Thousand Guineas. Thus, each of the five English classics is part of his amazing sire record. Two Lea, On-and-Ons dam, is everything unto herself. Dam of Tim Tarn, last years Derby winner and three-year-old champion, Two Lea was the champion of her sex at both three and four. No gamer mare ever looked through a bridle. Her sire. Bull Lea, has five times paced our sire roster and last year became our champion broodmare sire. What more is there to say?
