Stewards Rulings SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, 111., May 1. — The stewards issued the following rulings: "Jockey Eugene Curry is suspended 10 racing days for careless riding during the running of the fourth race on April 30, 1959. Suspension begins Monday, May 4, and terminates Thursday, May 14, both dates inclusive. "Jockey William Collier is suspended 10 racing days for careless riding during the running of the sixth race on April 30, 1959. Suspension begins Monday, May 4 and terminates Thursday, May 14, both dates inclusive. "Jockey Jack Fieselman is suspended 10 racing days for careless riding during the running of the seventh race on April 30, 1959. Suspension begins Monday. May 4 and terminates Thursday, May 14, both dates inclusive." CAHOKIA DOWNS, East St. Louis, III., May 1. — The stewards here issued the following ruling: "The application of John Allen Beachler for a license as owner and trainer is denied for falsification of application. John Allen Beachlers license was revoked and he was permanently barred from all tracks by South Dakota Racing Commission on July 10, 1954." FONNER PARK, Grand Island, Nebr., May 1. — The stewards here issued the following ruling: "Groom Joe Trent, TRPB No. 57893, is fined 5.00 for appearing in the paddock in an unfit condition on Thursday, April 30." The stewards here today issued the following ruling: "A forfeiture of 0.00 is placed against jockey Norman Mercier for lodging a frivolous claim of foul following the running of the fifth race, April 30th." WHEELING DOWNS, Wheeling, W. Va., May 1. — The stewards issued the following ruling Thursday: "Groom Charles E. Geno, of Ruoland, Vt., is hereby suspended pending his appearance before the stewards to answer to charges of misconduct in the stable area."
