/784.40 Record Payoff CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 1. — The record Daily Double pay-off at Churchill Downs was the ,784.40 which holders of each winning double tickets received May 10, 1955. The horses that provided the winning combination that afternoon were Kenna Reward and Miss Tidwell, both three-year-olds. Only one double at the Louisville track has returned more than ,000 for each wagered. Red Sultan and Fighting Eagle paid ,319.80 on April 26, 1954.
