Count Fleet Successful Sire CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 1. — Of the living Kentucky Derby winners, probably the most successful as a sire has been Count Fleet, who was retired after his unbeaten three-year-old season. Count Fleet was Americas leading in 1951. He stands at Mrs. Hertzs Stoner Creek Stud at Paris, Kentucky, where he was born.
