Arcaro Never Churchill Leader CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 1. — Jockey Eddie Arcaro, generally recognized as Americas premier reinsman, has never been leading rider at a Churchill Downs meeting since he accepted his first mount at the Louisville track twenty-five years ago. His best season here was in the Spring of 1935 when he had ten winners, but that total left him seven winners behind the late Jack Westrope.
