Bogenschutz Misses Derby ASCOT PARK, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, May 1. — For the first time since 1918 Ascot steward Lawrence Bogenschutz will not be present at Churchill Downs for the Kentucky Derby. The former racing secretary of Americas classic has been advised by his doctor not to make the hurried trip, so Bogenschutz has deputized his daughter to take his place at Louisville.
