Cardinal Sin Holds Record CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 1. — Cardinal Sin, winner of the Louisville Handicap in 1958, won that stakes event in faster time than has any other winner since the distance of the event has been one and one-sixteenth miles. Cardinal Sin won the event in 1:44 over a track classed as "good." The Louisville Handicap I was first run in 1895 at the local track.
