Horses of Same Name CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 1. — Two horses carrying the name American Eagle have run in the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs. Two carrying the name St. Bernard also have attempted to win the famous event. These are the only duplication of names in the eighty-four-year history of the event. It is interesting to note that in each case, horses carrying the same name had the same experience in the Derby.
