The latter had the lead almost from the start, set the pace to the stretch, then gave way but came again in the last seventy yards. MISS ELENA moved up steadily in the final quarter while saving ground. UPSET BOOK improved position while racing between horses. ROVING CAESAR made up some ground while on the inside.
