Highweights Do Well CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 1. — Over the quarter century there have been eight winners of the Derby to come from the highweight horses in the Experimental. In addition to Whirlaway, Count Fleet, Citation, Middleground, and Cavalcade, they have included Johnstown, second highweight; Hill Gail, third on the list; an Needles, which was ranked one pound below the top in his year. Other horses that were given prominent listing on the Experimental ratings and placed in the Derby included Reaping Reward, Challedon, Blue Swords, Pot o Luck, Spy Song.
