L I j | Laurel to Honor Bishop LAUREL, Md., May 1. — William Hal Bishop, in his third spring campaign at I Laurel, has won the leading trainers race and will be honored by the Laurel management during the closing-day program on Saturday, with the presentation of a trophy. Bishop has saddled 16 winners through Thursdays card and Frank A. Bonsai, J. Bowes Bond and Bernie Bond are tied for second place with nine.
