Gallahadion at Chino, Calif. CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville. Ky., May 1. — In April, 1942 Mrs. Ethel V. Mars, I , owner of Milky Way Farm, announced I Gallahadions retirement from racing and j sent him to Almahurst Farm at Nicholas- I ville, Kentucky, to enter the stud. In 1944 Mrs. Mars ended her career in racing by disposing of all her horses and her farm. Knight purchased Gallahadion. He stood at Almahurst for several years before he was sold and moved to Oklahoma. Within the | last eighteen months he was sold again and is now at stud at Chino. California. ! Gallahadion was the winner of the 1940 I Kentucky Derby.
