A STATEMENT By MAINE CHANCE FARM MAINE CHANCE FARM is devoted to raising horses for the Maine Chance Racing Establishment. It is a successful farm. From it have come the magnificent JET ACTION, the resplendent two-year-old champion of 1957; JEWELS REWARD, Rushers Fantasy, Beauguerre, and a host of other notable performers. The large band of broodmares includes MYRTLES CHARM, BEAUGAY, and ROSE JET— all leading fillies of their year-Knots of Roses, Fascinator, Incidentally. Myrtles Jet, Jets Dona Rosa, the four alluring daughters of the great BUSHER, and other matrons of exquisite quality. The ten stallions standing at MAINE CHANCE are products of the farms own racing stable, plus purchases of selected individuals both in the United States and abroad. Unfortunately, it is impractical to race the entire production of such an outstanding collection of horses, and MAINE CHANCE must sometimes offer yearlings for sale privately, or at public auction. Offered, but not sold, was the 1957 two-year-old champion, Jewels Reward. Sold was highly ranked Beauguerre. There is a distinct advantage in buying yearlings from a racing stable breeder. Each horse is bred and raised with the intention of joining the racing stable. Unconcerned with the fashion of the moment, as a market breeder must be, the sole MAINE CHANCE interest is raising sound, fast horses with stakes ability. You are welcome to visit the FARM, and see the stallions, mares, yearlings and foals. We believe we are turning out a superior product. TEN MAINE CHANCE STALLIONS JET ACTION MR.
