* FINISH OF 84TH DERBY — Calumet Farms Tim Tarn, with Ismael Valenzuela in the saddle, crossing finish line one-half length ahead of the early pacemaker, Sunny Blue Farms Lincoln Road, in the 1958 Kentucky Derby which carried a gross purse of 60,500. Crabgrass Stables Noureddin was third, one-half length back of the runner-up and six lengths ahead of Maine Chance Farms favorite, Jewels Reward.
